*Childcare vouchers*

Childcare vouchers:

You can ask your employer if they do these within your company, if not your employer will need to set up an account with the providers in order for you to receive these.  These work by what is known as ’salary sacrifice’ arrangement. This is open to one or both working parent’s from your individual employers.  You can receive a voucher for up to £243.00 per month per parent.  If your monthly fee exceeds this amount then you can pay the shortfall direct to us in the usual way. The £243.00 (or £486.00 if there are vouchers from both parents) is exempt from National Insurance and Income Tax, your employer also benefits from a saving.  The childcare vouchers may be used for more than one child but the total benefit is capped at £243.00 per month regardless of the number of children you have.

The vouchers can be in the form of a paper voucher which we will redeem by contacting the childcare scheme, or the voucher can be paid electronically.
